Primoris Power Solutions is seeking an Engineer II in the Fort Worth, Texas market. The Engineer II is an intermediate level position, with limited supervision from senior-level engineers or project managers, that is responsible for the performance of engineering tasks related to power distribution design including final QA/QC within the Power Delivery Engineering team. The incumbent is required to demonstrate strong a technical acumen with exceptional problem-solving ability to understand complex modeling applications and develops modernization of overhead and underground distribution systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provides development and design services on overhead and underground utility distribution line projects.
- Responsible for managing on multiple projects and able to prioritize.
- Interfaces with utility clients and collaboration with design team.
- Prepares and develops distribution voltage construction packages for both overhead and underground construction.
- Utilized GIS information to aide in design.
- Provide leadership, guidance and instruction to less experienced staff members.
- Field walkdowns.
- Prepare calculations and equipment specifications.
- Experience as in Engineer in the utility construction.
- Hybrid office and remote
Education & Minimum Requirements:
- Associates degree in a related discipline is preferred.
- 2-5 years of experience in power distribution, engineering, GIS/CAD, or other craft discipline.
