POSITION SUMMARY
Provides industry knowledge and expertise as an in-house resource both for our associates and our clients. Understands building envelope systems/construction and manages time between multiple projects. Dedicated to market/region and will support the project preconstruction and operations teams as well as supporting the other QAQC team members as necessary.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Pursuit
Preconstruction
Attends project interviews to identify/speak to QAQC challenges and opportunities.
Coordinates construction drawing reviews.
Reviews relevant wall, glazing and roofing systems as well as quality control specifications and testing requirements to identify risk areas for operations teams.
Coordinates plan with operations team to address and mitigate these risks.
Reviews scope of work documents for inclusion of any mockup or 3rd party testing requirements.
QAQC Plans
Construction
Assists project teams with pre-installation meetings, progress meetings and mock-up review meetings.
Reviews submittals as needed on select projects and provide feedback to operations team.
Performs regular site observation visits and provide feedback to project teams on compliance with QAQC specification requirements and QAQC plans.
Assists project team with troubleshooting as required.
Action Plans
Assists teams to create and complete QAQC Action Plans to document and access all reports, inspections or any other documentation required to show compliance with contract documents.
Assists teams with navigating QAQC dashboard.
Risk Management
Networking and Relationships
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (requirements before going into job)
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Engineering, Construction Science or Management or equivalent.
5+ years’ experience as Quality specialist or 8+ years in construction management or operations.
Knowledge of construction terminology and processes.
Successful completion of OSHA 30 training.
Knowledge of building codes (e.g., IBC, NEC).
Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
High-level of time management and prioritization.
Willing to travel as this individual visits multiple jobsites throughout the week; 80% in the field/traveling from site to site, 20% in the office.

The position requires work in an office and project site environment.
