The Solutions Architect is responsible for business development, needs analysis, and solution consultation pertaining to eMobility. The successful candidate will have thorough understanding of the various software and hardware stacks that are considered market leaders in regard to aforementioned solutions.
Additionally, this position will need to work both internal and external to the organization in defining solutions and solution strategies to drive value proposition to our end clientele.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering field, Civil or Electrical preferred
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of project management, site acquisition, and/or site development experience. Prior work in telecom/solar/retail development as a project manager or site acquisition manager is valuable. Experience with EV charging infrastructure is a plus.
Travel: up to 50%
Work Schedule: Typical work hours are between 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Monday – Friday; However, work may be performed at any time on any day of the week to meet business needs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage all phases of conceptual design approvals including but not limited to site host considerations and requirements, EV mandated ordinances and applicable parking and ADA compliance of EV stations within a given territory or partnership portfolio.
Develop and maintain site host partnership relationships, expand the portfolio, and grow the pipeline of opportunities for the CPO program.
Aptitude in building relationships with property owners, local jurisdictions, utility companies and communicating with other stakeholders throughout the project cycle.
Facilitate field site visits for due diligence as required for constructability reviews, utility considerations, ROM project cost.
Provide site reports and sketches as needed.
Evaluate viability of each site utilizing various utilization software and modeling methodologies in conjunction with the real estate and partnership objectives of the program
Plan, coordinate, approve, and review legal documents and plans for right-of-way/easement/property acquisitions with appropriate internal and external stakeholders
Review and coordinate grant and incentive opportunities with internal stakeholders.
Meet with zoning/permitting personnel to understand jurisdictional approval requirements and opportunities for timeline reduction. Represent FTI and the eMobility program at public meetings. Track and manage status of all needed approvals.
Develop, publish and communicate Annual Partnership Business Plans to Faith Leadership.
Collaborate with extended team to develop budgets and forecasts that will be submitted to Corporate Finance.
Subject matter expert in the solutions and services offered by Faith Technologies. Using this subject matter expertise, fill the role of Front-Line Business Development.
As a subject matter expert, provide advisory services to our clients and site host partners to assist in meeting their most important objectives and solving their most important business goals, initiatives and needs.
Constantly work towards mastery of the “Sandler Sales” methodologies and tool sets.
Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
