Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Commercial/Residential Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both in commercial and residential settings, demonstrating proficiency in electrical installations, renovations, and maintenance. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, schematics, and the ability to work effectively in various environments.
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in homes and commercial buildings.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of electrical systems.
- Perform low voltage wiring installations for security systems, lighting controls, and other applications.
- Utilize tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters to troubleshoot electrical issues.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure seamless integration of electrical work with other construction tasks.
- Execute frame carpentry tasks as needed to support electrical installations.
- Ensure all work complies with local codes and safety regulations.
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues before they become problems.
Skills
- Proven experience as a Commercial Electrician or Residential Electrician.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and safety protocols.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics related to electrical installations.
- Familiarity with low voltage systems and their applications.
- Ability to use diagnostic tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters effectively.
- Experience in frame carpentry is a plus for supporting installation tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Electrical wiring: 3 years (Preferred)
