As we expand, we seek a Master Electrician to play a crucial role in our operations, working closely with multiple teams to streamline electrical designs, ensure code compliance, and support project execution.
Role Overview
Unlike traditional field-based roles, this position is primarily office-based, focusing on collaborating with project management, design, procurement, and field teams to ensure smooth project execution. However, occasional site visits may be required for inspections, troubleshooting, or team training.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical guidance to project managers, engineers, and installation teams.
- Review electrical designs for compliance with NEC, local codes, and industry standards.
- Assist in permitting processes, ensuring all electrical documentation is accurate and complete.
- Support material selection and procurement, ensuring components align with project needs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical design or installation challenges before and during project execution.
- Conduct quality assurance reviews to maintain high safety and efficiency standards.
- Develop best practices and training materials for electricians and installers.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies in solar energy.
Qualifications
- Valid Master Electrician license is required.
- Extensive experience in solar PV systems, including residential and commercial installations.
- Strong understanding of NEC, NFPA, and local electrical codes.
- Ability to interpret electrical drawings, one-line diagrams, and specifications.
- Excellent communication skills with a collaborative mindset.
- Experience with permitting, interconnection requirements, and utility coordination is a plus.
- Proficiency in electrical design software or CAD is a plus.

Pay: $32.00 - $40.00 per hour
