Job Details:
The successful Recruiter will be responsible for delivering all facets of recruiting success throughout the organization. This will be achieved through the development of local and national recruiting plans, employing traditional sourcing strategies and resources as well as developing new, creative recruiting ideas. The Recruiter will play a critical role in ensuring we are sourcing and hiring the best possible talent companywide. This position will require some travel.
Responsibilities:
- Efficiently and effectively fill open positions.
- Hold interviews for electricians that range from entry level to journeyman.
- Conduct regular follow-up with Director of Recruiting to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation.
- Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting
- Build networks to find qualified passive candidates.
- Use social media and professional networking sites to identify and source candidates.
- Network through industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups, and employees.
- Aid public relations in establishing a recognizable employer of choice reputation for the company, both internally and externally
- Communicate with managers and employees regularly to establish rapport, gauge morale, and source new candidate leads.
- Maintain regular contact with possible future candidates.
- Attending career fairs for recruiting and company recognition.
- Work with field management to project future manpower trends and needs for all levels and skills across the company.
- Review applicants to evaluate if they meet the position requirements and conduct necessary phone screens before sending to the hiring managers.
- Maintain all pertinent applicant and interview data in the Human Resources Information System.
- Perform other special projects as assigned.
Requirements:
- Must have a background in electrical construction, hold at least a Texas Electrical Apprentice License, Journeyman License is preferred.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Comfortable conducting interviews with field employees, explaining core values, and going over offers.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
