Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in both commercial and industrial electrical work, demonstrating a strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and proficiency with various hand tools. This role requires a detail-oriented individual capable of working on construction sites and managing low voltage systems, as well as familiarity with logic controllers and Ohmmeters.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Interpret blueprints and technical diagrams to determine the layout of electrical systems.
- Ensure compliance with NEC standards and local electrical codes.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using diagnostic tools such as Ohmmeters and multimeters.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople, including handymen and carpenters, to complete projects efficiently.
- Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or malfunctions.
- Perform low voltage wiring for various applications including security systems and telecommunications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment on construction sites.
Qualifications
- Electrical Licensed in the state of Florida
- Strong knowledge of NEC regulations and safety standards.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and electrical testing equipment.
- Familiarity with logic controllers and their applications in electrical systems.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical documents accurately.
- Experience with frame carpentry is a plus but not required.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
