Job Responsibilities and Duties: Position will be responsible for understanding customer work scope requirements, generating quotations and facilitating effective communication between customers, and Shermco sales and production personnel pertaining to the Shermco industrial and wind field service product lines.
- Inside sales and customer service support for multiple field offices
- Obtain details for requested scope of work and estimate the time and materials required to complete jobs
- Seek vendor quotes for material needs and subcontracted services as required to complete scope of work
- Prepare service quotations based on estimates and supply to customers for approval
- Gather and import quote information into Salesforce customer relationship management (CRM) system
- Monitor CRM system’s quote queue to ensure quote proposals are submitted by posted due dates
- Receive and process customer purchase orders withing CRM system • Open jobs within Business Central enterprise resource planning (ERP) system
- Populate pertinent job information (quotes, photos, safety information, etc.) into ERP system
- Provide billing & collections support to Billing Specialist personnel • Deliver first-rate customer service experience by fielding and timely addressing customer related issues
- Afford sales support to outside sales personnel calling in from the road
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum of High School Diploma; Associates degree or some college in Business, EPC, Electrical Engineering or related field preferred; or equivalent education & experience in related field
- Two or more years’ experience in customer service, estimating, inside sales or comparable experience
- Knowledge of industrial AC/DC electric motors and wind generators preferred • Applied knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Demonstrated data entry ability within CRM systems; experience with Salesforce or similar system a plus
- Demonstrated data entry ability within ERP systems; experience with Business Central or similar system a plus
- Possess strong communication skills, professionalism, willingness to learn, team-mindedness, and high degree of organization
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, self-directed environment
- Must have and maintain a satisfactory drug & alcohol record
- Must be able to fluently read, write, and speak English
