Low Voltage Cable Technician – Access Controls | Up to $30/hr | Multiple Openings in Dallas

What You'll Do:
- Install access control systems in hospital buildings, including card readers, electronic locks, and security panels.
- Run and terminate low-voltage cabling for access controls and structured cabling connections.
- Mount and secure support structures (ladders, racks, j-hooks).
- Build and set up network closets, including racks, patch panels, and fiber hardware.
- Install grounding systems and perform fire-stopping procedures.
- Work in OSP confined spaces and troubleshoot cabling issues.
What You'll Need to Get Started:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in access control installations.
- Structured cabling, telecommunications, or commercial experience.
- Knowledge of universal color codes.
- Your own tools and PPE (punch downs, snips, wire strippers, hard hat, boots, safety glasses, etc.).
- Familiarity with BICSI, EIA, TIA, or NEC Standards is a plus.
