Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Commercial HVAC Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in our bidding and estimating process, helping secure new projects while fostering lasting relationships with general contractors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Bid Management: Seek and obtain Intent to Bids for prospective jobs to expand the company’s portfolio.
- Plan Analysis: Review mechanical plans thoroughly to complete accurate take-offs.
- Vendor Coordination: Request pricing from vendors and incorporate it with take-offs to generate comprehensive estimate sheets and proposals.
- Follow-Up: Communicate with general contractors to track the status of bids and refine the process as needed.
- Business Development: Reach out to potential new general contractors to secure additional business opportunities.
- Relationship Building: Visit general contractors to establish and strengthen long-term partnerships, fostering mutual trust and commitment.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in HVAC estimating with projects ranging from $30,000 to $4 million.
- Strong ability to interpret and analyze mechanical plans and specifications.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for relationship building and follow-up.
- Proficiency in estimating software and tools is preferred.
- Self-motivated and organized, with the ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines simultaneously.
- Experience with QuoteSoft Estimating Software or similar program is a bonus.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
