Designer/Drafter

company has immediate full-time openings for a Business Intelligence Manager in
the Southeast. This position will work within Industrial,
Commercial, Healthcare, and Federal businesses and be part of an amazing and
GROWING team! All positions are regular,
full-time and benefits-eligible. Pay range depending on
experience, skills, and knowledge.
The
person in this role will review contract documents, submittals, specifications,
and drafts for important information that will need to be utilized for
construction. Then, through the use of computer-aided design programs such as
AutoCAD, Bluebeam Revu, and Revit, the Designer/Drafter will also produce
schematics, models, installation drawings, technical documents and diagrams to
support the field staff and the electrical installation.
Job Duties:
· Design installation drawings in AutoCAD & Revit for
prefabrication and other projects
· Create data
sheets in coordination with designs that provide information about the
buildings and materials that will be needed
· Track & log
data points using Microsoft Excel
· Attend project
and field coordination meetings as scheduled/required to keep current of
project developments, milestones, and timelines.
· Keep detailed
and current records of all project work including drawings, correspondence, and
schedules
· Maintain and
update drawings and all project files
· Maintain digital
and physical file organization according to standards within the department
· Visit job sites
to answer questions and ensure designs are implemented correctly.
· Assist field
staff with layouts.
· Assist in
production of prefabricated equipment and devices in the shop when needed.

Requirements:
High school graduate, General
Education Development (GED) or equivalent education - Required
· Practical
electrical construction experience – Required
· Technical
drafting CAD course experience – Preferred
· Must have a
desire to work in a team-based environment and contribute immediately
· Positive and
safety conscious attitude with personal integrity - both are non-negotiable
· Outside of the
box, conceptual thinker with strong written and verbal communication skills
· Self-motivated,
analytical, and independent leader that quickly picks up concepts of the
business
· Detail oriented,
organized, and able to manage priorities with awareness of established
standards, deadlines, and expectations while producing high quality work
· Flexibility to
assist team members and adjust to customer requirements and changing priorities
