Wachter is accepting applications for Service Electricians for service work for our clients in the Lenexa, KS area. Candidates should be JOURNEYMAN LEVEL and have experience working as an industrial and commercial electrician. Candidates must be able to work nights, 3rd shift.

Requirements: - Able to work in an underground mine environment.
- Must have at least 2 years of Industrial or Commercial electrical experience.
- Familiarity with electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals.
- Familiarity with electrical equipment and hand tools.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Must be able to work nights.
- Able to work independently.
- Work safely in accordance with OSHA, NFPA, and NEC rules and regulations.
- Communicate professionally with the customer and project management team.
- Perform tasks, scheduled assignments, and troubleshoot to ensure that the following electrical and lighting systems are properly maintained and functional: - Emergency Lighting - Exterior Lighting - Interior Lighting - 120v Electrical Systems - 120/208v Electrical Panels
- Complete service repairs, replacements, upgrades, and adjustments on electrical systems and components following issued tasking, maintenance, troubleshooting, and installation instructions.
- Complete and submit electronic service orders, time sheets, and reports for each job.
Responsibilities: - Inspect and test electrical components to diagnose problems, repair broken electrical components, and install updates for outdated electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot electrical problems and install new wiring or other components to fix lighting, fuse boxes, and generators.
- Conduct tests to ensure all newly installed electrical systems and component devices are operational.
- Ensure electrical systems meet local, county, state, or federal codes; legal and/or insurance requirements.
- Adhere to all required project safety requirements as set forth by Wachter, our customers, or OSHA.
- Perform any other duties not specifically stated, but which your supervisor may assign.

Based on experience and licensing.
