SENIOR MARKETING/PROPOSAL SPECIALIST
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Responsible for implementing service-specific marketing efforts that support the
company's goals in market sales, market strategy, and market image.
Effectively collaborates companywide. Expectations are to work in a team environment
with regional business developers and marketing team members. Establishes priorities for
the completion of assigned tasks. Uses independent judgment to interpret internal and
external issues, and implements best practices.
Relies upon experience, organizational and interpersonal skills, and market knowledge to
ensure task completion in compliance with policies, procedures, and business strategy.
Delivers strong written communication skills critical to this role's success and the success
of company business development efforts. Ability to work independently.
PRINCIPLE AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
This position will require the following:
- Development of tailored, client-specific responses to RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs.
- Development of company introductory and pursuit presentations.
- Assembling of marketing promotional packages.
- Maintaining/updating marketing infrastructure to include project sheets, resumes, project listings, etc.
- Maintaining/updating company CRM platform and project history system.
- Assisting company communications with internal/external initiatives that support the company's promotion.
- Planning and coordination of events and tradeshows.
- Coordination and procurement of photography (i.e., project progress, project finals, personnel, and general).
- Preparation of award submissions.
- Adherence to company branding guidelines.
- Assistance building companywide and local market brand awareness.
- Assisting project sites with signage and other branding initiatives.
- Assisting promotional item coordination through company vendor.
- Engaging strategic training opportunities to enhance job skills and performance.
- Advanced skills required in Adobe InDesign, Adobe Acrobat Pro, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word.
- Moderate skills required in Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft SharePoint.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Initial skills required for this job are typically acquired through the completion of an
undergraduate degree. Three years of AEC Proposal experience required.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time
- Ability to use a computer for prolonged periods
- Occasionally required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms
- Ability to lift and carry office supplies and equipment up to 20 pounds
