Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated Contract Recruiter to join our Primoris Renewable Energy team for roughly a 3-month contract. In this role, you will collaborate with hiring managers to support high-volume staffing needs in the renewable energy space. This temporary position requires strong sourcing skills, excellent communication, and the ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously, while providing an exceptional candidate experience.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Partner with the Talent Acquisition Lead- Solar and BESS Operations along with hiring managers to understand current hiring needs, role requirements, and candidate criteria.
- Primary roles to recruit for: Project Manager, Site Manager, Electrical/Civil/Mechanical/Commissioning Superintendent and General Foreman, Project Engineer
- Source, qualify, present, and schedule candidates in a high-volume recruiting environment.
- Maintain a positive candidate experience through consistent communication and follow-up throughout the recruitment process.
- Utilize a variety of sourcing methods including job boards, social media, direct outreach, referrals, community partnerships, and workforce solutions.
- Leverage Applicant Tracking Systems (UKG/UltiPro or similar) and standard business software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) to manage candidate pipelines and hiring data.
- Conduct weekly/biweekly check-ins with hiring managers to ensure alignment on staffing goals and timelines.
- Ensure compliance with internal and external hiring practices and documentation requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or some college with 3+ years of hands-on recruiting experience, preferably in renewable energy, construction, engineering, or skilled trades.
- Proven ability to manage a high requisition load and collaborate with multiple hiring managers simultaneously.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience using UKG/UltiPro or a similar ATS is required.
- Knowledge of recruitment compliance, requisition management, and candidate recordkeeping.
- Ability to work a hybrid model out of our Denver, CO office
