POSITION SUMMARY:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Scheduler Intern to join our team at our Denver-area office. This internship provides hands-on experience in project scheduling and controls within a dynamic engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) environment—ideal for students pursuing a degree in engineering, construction management, or related fields.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Support project managers and project controls staff with the development of scheduling documents and reports.
· Assist in preparing weekly schedule updates, look-ahead schedules, and basic schedule analysis.
· Learn and assist with schedule impact evaluations, earned value tracking, and resource reporting under supervision.
· Help develop initial proposal and project schedules in scheduling software.
· Collaborate with estimating and project teams to understand project timelines and contribute to scheduling input.
· Attend internal meetings and assist in preparing presentation materials for client meetings.
· Provide general administrative and technical support to project teams and management.
· Assist with maintaining scheduling standards and processes within the department.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Construction Management, Engineering (Electrical/Civil/Mechanical/Industrial), Project Management, or a related field.
· Basic understanding of project scheduling or interest in learning scheduling tools such as Primavera P6.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Detail-oriented and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
PREFERRED (but not required):
· Prior internship or project experience in construction, engineering, or project coordination.
· Exposure to CPM (Critical Path Method) scheduling concepts.
· Familiarity with construction drawings or contracts.
BENEFITS AND PAY:
- $21 - $27, hourly dependent on experience, qualifications, and competencies
