The Excellerate Process Improvement Specialist will work with the Process Development Manager and the Operations team to assist in developing process standards between all facilities. The role will help to implement process standardization and collaborate with all affected groups to create effective standard processes.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in manufacturing/ Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or equivalent experience.
Experience: 1 - 5 years of related industry experience or any appropriate combination of education and experience as determined by management.
Travel: 10-25%
Work Schedule: This position works between the hours of 7 AM and 5 PM, Monday- Friday. However, work may be performed at any time on any day of the week to meet business needs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the development and improvement of standardized processes through training, documentation, and KPI (Key Performance Indicator) monitoring.
- Assist in developing process standards and documentation that is in accordance with ISO standards.
- Assist in developing and executing an effective audit plan to ensure site compliance to documented standards.
- Assist in training Process Development owners that will assist in auditing and ensuring compliance with developed standards.
- Collaborate with the Process Development Manager and site CI Leads to identify general process improvement opportunities and utilize lean tools to implement solutions.
- Support Excellerate Continuous Improvement activities through facilitation of Process Flow and Process Mapping activities and train others to maintain those processes.
- Actively participates in Faith’s hiring referral and mentoring program, as appropriate.
- Train Process Support Technician in newly implemented processes and/or process tools.
- Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
