
Job Title: Regional Safety Manager

Job Summary:
Shambaugh is looking for a Safety Specialist to support regional construction field staff by reviewing site safety practices, setting expectations for safety practices, and determining alternatives for safe work in potentially hazardous situations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Complete jobsite reviews on a regular basis, giving constructive solutions and submitting documentation.
- Assist with incident investigation and management.
- Complete & submit job start documentation.
- Perform on-site training.
- Complete First Aid, AED, CPR and STSC training within first 90 days.
- Participate in regular meetings with national safety, regional safety, and foremen.
- Develop and maintain working relationship with field staff.
- Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Minimum OSHA 30 required
- Proficient with Outlook, Excel, Word, PDF, and smartsheets
- Ability to travel regionally
- STSC, OSHA 510/, CHFM, CSHO, and OSHM knowledge preferred
- Regular and reliable attendance, including the ability to work extended hours and weekends as required

Compensation Range: $19-35 /hr
Other Compensation: Bonus eligible after 1 year of employment
