About the position
As Communications Intern, you will provide creative and content support for various internal communication initiatives. We are seeking a Communications Intern who is a creative thinker, strong writer and excellent communicator. This position will work closely with the Communications & Engagement Manager on a variety of projects including communications planning, content development, social media, communications templates and other areas as needed.
Day in the life
- Create engaging content for internal communications, social media and presentations.
- Assist in the development of multimedia content, such as graphics and templates.
- Develop content for internal distribution.
- Assist with event planning, including logistics and vendor management.
- Assist in developing collateral for ongoing use.
- Collaborate with Communications and key stakeholders.
Minimum Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in communications or marketing
- Experience using applications such as PowerPoint, Canva, Adobe, and the Microsoft Office Suite
- Exceptional writing and communication skills with the ability to present and convey ideas clearly.
- Strong relationship building skills and a team player.
