Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Internal Counsel to oversee all immigration-related legal matters and assist with employment labor law compliance. This role will ensure the company adheres to all applicable immigration and labor laws while supporting the human resources and operations teams in employment-related legal matters. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in immigration processes, employment law, and regulatory compliance within the construction or engineering industry.
Responsibilities
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Licensed to practice law in any state within the US, with preference for multi-jurisdictional licensing.
- 5+ years of experience in immigration law, preferably within the construction or engineering industry.
- 3+ years of experience in employment law, preferably within the construction or engineering industry.
- Strong understanding of employment-based immigration processes and compliance requirements.
- Experience handling employment litigation and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with HR, operations, and executive leadership.
Additional Information
Salary Range: $113,500-137,500
Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including relevant internal and external experience, knowledge, skills, scope of job, geographical location or other factors permitted by law
