Job Title: QC/CWI - Sutherland, NE
Job Summary:
MOR PPM, Inc. seeks a QC/CWI for an outage project in Sutherland, NE. The QC Inspector must have at least 3 years experience in QC/CWI preferably in a power plant.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Must have equivalent experience level of a journeyman in the particular craftwork being inspected; for example: welding, electrical, or millwright work.
- Three (3) years’ experience in quality control work relating to chemical process construction and/or modification activities.
- Must have a thorough knowledge of the codes, nondestructive examination, and testing methods associated with the craft work being inspected.
Experience:
- Minimum of three years QA/QC required
- Inspector certification(s) preferred
Qualifications & Skills:
- Willing to travel on long deployment
- Microsoft Office
- Inspector certification(s) preferred
- Reading blueprints and plans required
- Interpersonal skills such as oral, verbal and written communication and reasoning is required.
- CWI Certification
Physical Requirements/Job Site Requirements:
- Must be able to complete hiring paperwork electronically through DocuSign
- May be required to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds
- Must posses enough strength and stamina to perform the technical duties and essential functions as identified above
- Must be able to move in and around confined spaces and uneven areas
- Must have full range of motion consistent with age
- Must be able to climb and maintain balance ladders
- Must be able to adequately hear and respond to voice commands and alerts from other employees, alarms and other job-related noises
- Visual acuity, depth perception and color discrimination consistent with that required to work at heights and on uneven surfaces
- Safety/Steel toe shoes are required.
