SUMMARY: The Intelligent Services Data Analyst plays a key role in supporting sales, providing technical assistance, and delivering insightful reporting for Intelligent Services customer sites. This position is responsible for analyzing building data to identify optimization and improvement opportunities, assisting sales teams with quoting additional services, and generating critical performance reports, including Building Scorecards, Inspection Reports, and Chiller Performance Reports. Additionally, the role involves troubleshooting alarms, managing report workflows, and ensuring customer satisfaction by providing exceptional support and coordinating effectively with service teams. All activities are aligned with the overarching goals of enhancing building performance and maintaining contract compliance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The following duties are essential to the role. Other responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
Sales Support & Customer Service:
- Identify and develop additional service opportunities for strategic accounts.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries, providing professional support to foster long-term relationships.
- Ensure accurate and timely delivery of reports to customers and relevant stakeholders.
Reporting & Data Analysis:
- Generate and manage key reports, including Building Scorecards, Inspection Reports, and Chiller Performance Reports for IS customers.
- Identify and correct data errors, ensuring proper backup and storage of reports.
- Analyze data to identify opportunities for energy savings, system optimization, and building performance improvements.
- Support site audits, virtual audits, and alarm monitoring via the dedicated support email account.
Technical Support:
- Configure sites and reports in analytics software as needed.
- Provide technical assistance to IS technicians and support troubleshooting of critical alarms.
- Ensure compliance with IS contract requirements while maintaining data accuracy in reporting.
- Collaborate with service teams to ensure seamless execution of sold opportunities and maintain high customer satisfaction.
Teamwork & Continuous Improvement:
- Foster a culture of collaboration and teamwork across the organization.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, enhance customer service, and increase reporting efficiency.
- Contribute to the development of new reporting features, layouts, and procedures as needed.
- Provide constructive feedback to enhance personal and team performance.
Safety & Compliance:
- Adhere to all company safety programs and report any non-compliance to the team leader or safety manager.
- Immediately report any unsafe conditions or safety concerns.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:

Education & Experience:
- Associate degree preferred.
- Minimum one year of experience in building performance analysis, energy management systems, or HVAC systems.
Computer Skills:
- Proficiency in MS Office and MS Windows.
Certifications & Licenses:
- Valid driver’s license.
- CEM and/or LEED certification is a plus.
Language Skills:
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret service bulletins, technical manuals, equipment specifications, and regulations.
- Ability to write reports, policies, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective presentations and interactions with management, customers, and service personnel.
Mathematical Skills:
- Proficiency in probability, statistical analysis, and fundamental geometry and trigonometry.
- Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability:
- Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to collect and analyze data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to interpret complex technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and manage both abstract and concrete variables.
