Summary:
The LEMOINE Engineering Advancement Program (LEAP) is designed to develop future leaders in construction management. Participants begin their journey in Estimating, Project Management, or Field Supervision, guided by experienced Coaches in each discipline. Over a 9-12 month rotational period, participants engage in hands-on experience across these three areas, combined with formal training, to gain a well-rounded professional foundation in construction.
Responsibilities:
Project Support & Coordination:

Assist in the preparation and submission of RFIs, Submittals, and other project documents to the Architect/Owner, ensuring timely distribution of responses to Trade Partners.

Conduct inspections before, during, and after installation using predetermined checklists and document findings with photographs, as required by the site-specific QA/QC plan.

Assist the Superintendent in daily scheduling and supervision of on-site activities.

Actively participate in trade partner Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) and use them to plan tasks.
Estimating & Bid Preparation:

Assist in the preparation of bid proposals, including cost breakdowns, clarifications, scope, and exclusions.

Perform subcontract quantity take-offs for assigned trade scopes and lead the development of tab sheets.
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

Internship experience in the commercial construction industry preferred.

General knowledge of construction management, project planning, scheduling, and estimating for multiple trade disciplines.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Strong math, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
Physical Requirements:

Ability to conduct inspections and carry equipment used for inspections.

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at a time.
