The basic function of the Drywall Foreman is to help with the timely and proper completion of installation projects. Drywall Foreman's are responsible for daily supervision, direction and coordination of assigned Crew on a jobsite. Drywall Foreman is responsible for all equipment assigned to him and for various other assigned tasks which should all be completed using high quality standards. Drywall Foreman is responsible for representing the company in a manner that promotes positive client relations.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor drywall project deadlines and assign work activities to a site supervisor or contractor
- Hang and finish drywall, and some painting.
- Multi-task, work as a team player and maintain a positive attitude.
- Answer all office pages/calls in a timely manner.
- Be neat and clean at all times and keep vehicles, equipment, and work spaces the same.
- Adhere to proper procedures in the use of paperwork (work order, etc...).
- Work overtime hours as needed to meet deadlines.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of job experience as a drywall installer, taper, and mudder.
- Five or more years experience with Metal Studs, Drywall, Taping, Rough Carpentry, and associated scopes.
- Five or more years work experience in a foreman position
- Working Knowledge of Construction
- Ability to read and understand shop drawings
- Must be detail-oriented with a passion for perfection
- Must be able to lift and carry 50lbs or more
- Must adhere to the company uniform policy
- Follow rules and regulations as described in the company handbook
- Ability to follow instructions from supervisor
