We are seeking a skilled Pipefitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pipe installation, maintenance, and repair within various construction settings. Duties
- Install, assemble, and repair piping systems according to specifications and schematics.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine the layout of piping systems.
- Utilize tools such as ohmmeters for testing electrical components within piping systems.
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure all installations meet industry standards and project requirements.
- Manage project scheduling effectively to meet deadlines while maintaining safety protocols.
- Collaborate with construction management teams using software tools like HeavyBid, Prolog, and Primavera for efficient project tracking.
- Assist in the development of project schedules and timelines to optimize workflow.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Pipefitter or similar role in the construction industry.
- Familiarity with construction management practices and quality control measures.
- Proficiency in using software such as Bluebeam for document management and project coordination.
- Strong understanding of schematics and technical drawings related to plumbing systems.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while adhering to strict deadlines.
