Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing systems and be capable of performing a variety of tasks related to installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires a hands-on approach, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The Plumber will be responsible for ensuring that all plumbing systems operate efficiently and comply with safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Weld and build piping systems as required for various projects.
- Utilize basic math skills to accurately measure and cut pipes.
- Perform construction plumbing tasks including pipe threading and fitting installations.
- Read and interpret schematics to understand plumbing layouts.
- Operate power tools safely and effectively during installations and repairs.
- Conduct field service calls to troubleshoot plumbing issues reported by clients.
- Collaborate with carpenters and other tradespeople on construction projects as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Plumber or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction plumbing techniques and practices.
- Ability to weld, build, and perform pipe threading tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with reading schematics and technical drawings related to plumbing systems.
- Proficient in using power tools safely in various environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license with the ability to operate commercial vehicles if required.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.

Pay: $40.00 - $55.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
