Job Description: An HVAC Technician has a strong interest in pursuing this trade as a career and are excited to learn skills and gain experience within our HVAC department. As an HVAC Technician you will be required to perform routine maintenance, replacing parts, repairing machinery, and furnishing the HVAC technicians with tools, materials, and supplies. You must be able to follow directions and be willing to help with any aspect of an HVAC project.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Cleaning, adjusting, and repairing HVAC systems, and performing warranty services.
- Troubleshooting defective HVAC systems and equipment to make diagnoses.
- Operating a variety of hand and power tools needed for HVAC installation.
- Cleaning and replacing air ducts, filters, coils, etc.
- Ensuring all tools, materials, and equipment are in good working order.
- Performing preventative maintenance by cleaning coils and air handling units and monitoring and calibrating air handling units.
- Coordinating with team members to provide excellent customer service.
- Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently
- Participate in all technical training
- Complying with service standards, work instructions, and customers’ requirements.
- Other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED certificate.
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
- Experience and familiarity with HVAC systems and their inner workings.
- Familiarity with all tools and equipment necessary for HVAC installation and maintenance.
- Ability to lift 55 pounds.
- Good manual dexterity.
- Critical thinker with good problem-solving abilities and strong attention to details.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work after hours, over weekends, and holidays.
- Proficient electrical and mechanical diagnostic skills.
- Proficient in reading schematics and work plans preferred.
- EPA Certification preferred

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00 - $33.00 per hour
