Scope of Work
Reporting to the Vice President of Information Technology, the IT Cybersecurity Systems Administrator will share responsibilities with our IT Engineering team in the day-to-day proactive administration of the Gaylor cybersecurity posture, as well as serve as project lead on a variety of technical projects. This person will work with all levels of staff within the company, external vendors, customers, and software/hardware companies to assure a high level of cyber security.
Responsibilities
- Triage and respond to security alerts from Microsoft Defender.
- Drive implementation of least privilege and just-in-time access for privileged roles.
- Participate in team-based, rotating schedule of 24/7 reaction to alerts.
- Manage and refine the Gaylor SIEM within Microsoft Sentinel.
- Assess and improve Gaylor security posture (Secure Score, etc.)

Experience Requirements
- Microsoft cybersecurity platform including Defender XDR and Sentinel
Education
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT or related field.
- Preferred: Credential or certifications in cybersecurity.
- Preferred: Microsoft Security certifications (ie SC-200, SC-300)
