DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Lay out, assemble, install, or maintain pipe systems, pipe supports, or related hydraulic or pneumatic equipment for steam, hot water, heating, cooling, lubricating, sprinkling, or industrial production or processing systems.
· Study blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine the type of pipe and tools to use, and lay out the sequence of tasks
· Measure, cut, thread, groove, bend, assemble and install metal, plastic and fiberglass pipes, valves and fittings
· Join pipe sections, related equipment and secure in position
· Use testing equipment to check systems for leaks
· Drill and punch holes in metal, for screws, bolts, and rivets.
· Trim, file, grind, deburr, buff, and smooth surfaces, seams, and joints of assembled parts, using hand tools
and various power tools.
· Willing to cross-train and perform the work of other job tasks in addition to the primary assigned position.

EDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
· Possess a suitable combination of education and experience to meet the requirements of this position
· Must be a Pipe Fitter/Steamfitter Journeyman by trade
· Minimum of 1 – 3 years industrial experience is preferred
· Must be able to work with various hand tools and operate an industrial powered fork truck
· Demonstrated proficiency reading and interpreting work orders and drawings.
· Able to work independently or as a team player
· Able to take direction and communicate with others
· Have excellent time management skills, organized and detail oriented

· Perform work standing up in work cell for 8-10 hours per day and up to 6 days a week.

· The employee must frequently lift and/or move material during the course of performing his/her job
· Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Pay: $30.00 - $34.00 per hour
