Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and have experience in field service operations. This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining various systems, with a focus on air conditioning and heating equipment. The Service Technician will work both independently and collaboratively to ensure optimal performance of our services.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on air conditioning and heating systems.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues using schematics and technical manuals.
- Conduct field service calls to diagnose and resolve customer concerns.
- Build and install components as needed for system upgrades or replacements.
- Operate welding equipment for repairs and modifications.
- Maintain accurate records of service performed, parts used, and customer interactions.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards while working in various environments.
- Drive company van to service locations, ensuring timely arrival and professional representation.
Experience
- Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in a related field.
- Familiarity with air conditioning systems, including installation and repair.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics for troubleshooting purposes.
- Experience in field service roles is preferred.
- Skills in welding or fabrication are advantageous.
- Previous experience as a mechanic or in a similar technical role is desirable.
- A valid driver's license is required for driving the company van.

Pay: $25.00 - $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 10 per week
