GAC Services is an award-winning residential HVAC and electrical company in Gaithersburg, MD and is currently looking for a HVAC Install Technician (Entry, Mid-level and Lead)! Qualifications and requirements:
- A Technician should be able to meet the following:
- Possess a valid drives license, have experience operating a motor vehicle, and ability to provide a clean driving record
- Mechanically inclined and the ability to work with hand tools and power tools
- Excellent customer relations skills
- Strong communication, time management, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and move with a sense of urgency
- Reliable, self-driven & career oriented.
For entry level positions the Job duties may include:
- Working in tight conditions
- Working outside year round
- Brazing, basic electrical work, basic carpentry work
- Duct modifications
- Installation of HP systems and FAC systems
- Installation of IAQ products
For more experienced Techs additional duties will include:
- Installing FAC, HPS, and Ductless HVAC systems.
- Including but not limited to: Brazing, low voltage, high voltage, duct modifications, IAQ products, charging equipment, etc
- Understanding the sequence of operations of an HVAC system and the ability to troubleshoot potential start up issues.
- Knowledgeable about local mechanical and HVAC code requirements.
